How to Have the Perfect Bouquet for Your Wedding

Your bouquet is going to be in so many of your wedding photos — from getting-ready details to your walk down the aisle to those dreamy golden-hour portraits. Choosing the right one makes a real difference.

I always suggest working with a local florist who understands seasonal availability. Not only will your flowers be fresher, but seasonal blooms tend to photograph with richer colour and texture. Think about how the colours will complement your dress and your venue's palette.

Size matters too — a bouquet that's too large can overwhelm your frame in photos, while one that's too small might get lost. Your florist and I can work together to find the perfect balance.

And don't forget the details: trailing ribbons, a family brooch pinned to the stems, or a locket with a loved one's photo — these personal touches make your bouquet uniquely yours and give me beautiful details to capture.
